Accessibility
A platform anyone on your team can use.
Ventra targets WCAG 2.2 AA across every surface. If any part of the product fails to meet that bar for you, we consider it a bug and we want to know.
What we've built in
- Keyboard-first. Every action in Ventra — including drag-and-drop timelines and the command palette — is fully keyboard operable.
- Screen readers. Semantic HTML, ARIA where semantics fall short, and tested against VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS.
- Contrast. Text meets AA at minimum, AAA for headings on both light and dark themes.
- Reduced motion. All non-essential animation respects the OS-level prefers-reduced-motion setting.
- Zoom. Interfaces reflow cleanly to 200% zoom and 320px viewport width without loss of function.
- Language. Plain English by default; we avoid idioms and jargon in critical flows.
Where we're still working
Live drag-and-drop reordering of the calendar Gantt is currently keyboard-operable but with fewer fine-grained handles than the mouse version. We're shipping parity in Q3 2026. Complex analytics charts have text-summary alternates you can turn on in Settings → Accessibility.
How to tell us
Please email accessibility@theventra.co with the page, the browser and assistive technology you're using, and what happened. We respond within three working days, and every accessibility bug is treated as high priority.
